High School Reflections

High school has given me very good and not so good moments, but it was undoubtedly the best time of my life. I had many friends, and the days in class were fun and enjoyable. I remember that the first day of high school I entered with a lot of fear of not making friends since I didn't know anyone, but after the first playground I had already made 3 friends, one of whom today is my best friend. A not so good stage in high school was repeating the course, since I had a bad time both socially with my new classmates and on a personal level.

The Digital Connection

Today, both new and old generations have something in common: the need to connect to the internet, either to work or to hang out. I think that punishing a person without... Continue reading "Personal Reflections on Life's Journey" »

Who is the Inspector and What is His Role?

Is he Priestley, God, the voice of conscience, a dream, a time traveler, or a police inspector? There are many options to consider.

The Collective Subconscious

“We do not live alone. We are all members of one body.” Priestley was interested in the ideas of the famous psychologist Carl Jung. He believed that in dreams, we lose our identity and enter the “collective subconscious,” where we all share experiences and the things we dream of have a common significance.

Time Pressure and Knowledge

Harriet Noble's 1824 Migration Account

As told to Elizabeth F. Ellet (1856)

Author: Harriet Noble | Date of Migration: 1824

The Reality of Pioneer Migration

In 1856, Elizabeth F.
