The Rise of Shakira: A Global Pop Icon
Many people know Shakira for being the artist who represents the pop musical genre. Her fame began at the age of 19, when she released the song "Pies Descalzos". However, she started recording when she was only 13 years old.
Shakira was born in 1977 in Barranquilla, Colombia. She was born into a middle-class family. From the age of 5, she showed her passion for music, demonstrating her talent for dancing and singing. By the age of 8, she wrote her first song, and at the age of 10, she appeared on a television program. As a teenager, she signed her first contract with Sony Music Colombia.
Thanks to all the views on her songs, she became a talented singer traveling around the world, and from there, she became one of the most famous singers of all time.
Shakira is more than just a singer; she has two children and recently went through a divorce from the football player Piqué. Shakira has made music more amazing, and thanks to her, music has become a passion for many people.
A Unique Family Anniversary Celebration
On November 2, my grandparents celebrated their anniversary at the family's country house. They had a San Fermín-themed party where they ended up throwing tomatoes at each other.
This party started at 7:00 in the afternoon and began very well. The first ones to arrive were my grandparents and the grandchildren, followed by their friends. When the party started to get quiet, the DJ came. After that, all the guests began to dance, sing, and laugh together. Since the party started at 7:00 PM, my grandparents invited everybody to have dinner.
Next, during the dinner, a couple started arguing. The woman threw the first thing she saw on the table at her partner, and the boyfriend threw a tomato back. To hide the conflict, my grandparents started throwing tomatoes until the guests left the party.
This party was very good because it was fun and interesting, but I think it wasn't the best moment, as it was my grandparents' anniversary and it was very important for them.
Fast Food, Obesity, and Modern Health
Nowadays, more and more people go to the supermarket and buy fast food. This food increases the possibility of becoming ill. However, I think that apart from fast food such as hot dogs, hamburgers, and chips, there are other factors that help develop illnesses.
The Impact of Sedentary Lifestyles
For example, obesity is a concern because this type of food contains additives that make you keep eating, which can be bad for your health. Secondly, another problem related to obesity is spending all day at home playing video games instead of playing with your friends in the park. It is true that while you are socializing online, you are not moving or doing any sport.
The Importance of Staying Active
Last but not least, we have to socialize in person. For example, if you dare to play sports or meet friends, you may leave your house and go for a walk or practice some sport instead of lying on your sofa watching TV.
Nowadays, the first thing we think about when we talk about obesity is fast food since it can be very attractive, but it can also cause many illnesses. I believe that if you eat this food in moderation and do sport, nothing will go wrong.
