Methodological Progression in Defensive Work

Methodological progression for defense.

Major disadvantages:

  • Taking one moment to form, instantly, as the position is lost after each displacement based on the basic stance.
  • Maintaining the necessary position without losing time, with an expectant, recommended posture.
  • Difficulty in displacement with direction and rapid changes, causing sudden and intricate movements that create imbalances, along with low effectiveness in assimilating the technique.

Technical factors to consider:

  • Distance factor
  • Arrangement
  • Concentration
  • Alternation of displacements
  • Postural imbalances
  • Spacing of acceleration

Common errors:

  1. Not supporting the base in a balanced way
  2. Attention and looking to concentrate on the single ball
  3. Adopting

Defense Mechanisms (Barriers)

Non-Specific Barriers

Cognitive sense: NK cells are not specific and do not discriminate between agents, and they are not pathognomonic. Memory is not needed; they do not recognize antigens and do not get reinforced after the first infection.

The Skin

The skin is both the first barrier: mechanical and chemical. The chemical function of the barrier depends on two glands: sebaceous and sudoriferous. These two secretions give the skin a pH that is slightly acidic, which is very effective against germs. Against any external agent, for example Staphylococci, acne.

Mucosal Membranes

Mucous membranes are soft, highly vascular tissue covering any surface or internal cavity. The mucous secretion prevents the binding of bacteria.... Continue reading "Immune System Defense Mechanisms: Barriers, Immunity and Inflammation" »

Psychopedagogical Assessment and Its Effect on Educational Decisions

The psychopedagogical assessment, with a meaningful focus, evaluates the impact of general measures and attention to diversity, as well as the specific measures applied to each student. Its purpose is to support educational decision-making, adjusting the measures to the diversity of students and their needs.

Who Needs a Psychopedagogical Assessment?

Pupils or students at risk of exclusion, or those presenting special educational needs, require psychopedagogical intervention. The psychopedagogue coordinates all the information obtained and/or extracted from the agents involved (teaching staff, subject teachers, tutors). When general measures prove insufficient, a project is developed... Continue reading "Psychopedagogical Assessment of Learning Difficulties in Early Childhood" »

1. Definition of Standard Costs

Standard costs are predetermined costs established under certain assumptions. They define the internal and external behavior, forecast both controllable and non-controllable parameters, and serve as an objective of action in management.

2. Advantages and Disadvantages of Standard Costs Compared to Historical Costs

Standard cost systems are based on standard costs rather than historical costs. Their advantages are:

  • They are a key reference instrument for management.
  • Variances allow the principle of management by exception to be applied.
  • They facilitate a priori assessment of inventories.
  • They provide a means to the initial determination of prices and the formulation of policies.
  • They require a precise definition of responsibilities
