How to Write a Formal Complaint Letter for Faulty Products

English1.72 KB

Formal Complaint Letter Template

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally complain about a product I purchased on your website on 28th February 2026. The item, a black mug with a humorous inscription, was intended as a gift for my father. Unfortunately, the product did not meet my expectations.

Description of Issues

Firstly, the product description on your website stated a capacity of 360 ml; however, upon measurement, it holds less than 300 ml. Furthermore, the inscription is scratched and illegible, rendering it unsuitable as a gift. Additionally, the packaging is dull and grey, which is disappointing.

Requested Resolution

While I could replace the packaging, the damage to the mug itself is unacceptable. I request a full refund or a replacement...

My Fuerteventura Summer Adventure

BLOG

Hello guys!
This summer, I visited a new island: Fuerteventura. After a long trip, we arrived on the island and found some apartments near the beach in Tarajalejo. During the week I spent in Fuerteventura, we visited many interesting places across its six municipalities.

Daily Itinerary in the Canary Islands

  • First day: We rested in the apartments and went to the beach. It was relaxing, though the boat trip had left us exhausted.
  • Second day: We visited the Museum of Salt and the nature reserve of the Dunas de Corralejo, then had "goat meat" for lunch at a nearby guachinche.
  • Third day: We visited the Unamuno House-Museum and Oasis Park, where you can find a great variety of animals and enjoy a wonderful camel ride.

Cultural Perspectives on Punctuality and Teenage Stress

English2.16 KB

1. The Culture of Being Late

Introduction

In many cultures, punctuality is very important, while in others, being a little late is normal. In Spain, for example, arriving ten or fifteen minutes late to a social event is usually accepted. This raises the question of whether a relaxed attitude towards time is positive or disrespectful.

Body

On the one hand, a flexible attitude towards time can reduce stress. If people did not worry so much about arriving exactly on time, they would probably feel more relaxed in social situations. For instance, when I meet my friends, some of them arrive a bit late, but nobody gets angry because we understand that it is part of our culture.

On the other hand, if someone arrived very late without a good reason, it could...
