Hello guys!
This summer, I visited a new island: Fuerteventura. After a long trip, we arrived on the island and found some apartments near the beach in Tarajalejo. During the week I spent in Fuerteventura, we visited many interesting places across its six municipalities.
Daily Itinerary in the Canary Islands
- First day: We rested in the apartments and went to the beach. It was relaxing, though the boat trip had left us exhausted.
- Second day: We visited the Museum of Salt and the nature reserve of the Dunas de Corralejo, then had "goat meat" for lunch at a nearby guachinche.
- Third day: We visited the Unamuno House-Museum and Oasis Park, where you can find a great variety of animals and enjoy a wonderful camel ride.
- Fourth day: We visited Lobos Island (Island of Wolves) with friends who are familiar with the island. If you like photography or water sports, I highly recommend going there!
- Fifth day: We visited Puerto del Rosario and saw its beautiful white sand beaches.
- Sixth day: We went fishing at the dock near the apartments. It was a small beach but very busy with tourists.
- Last day: We packed up the apartment and went to Corralejo for XXL pizzas; I highly recommend them!
The inhabitants are known as "majoreros," and in every family, there is a herd of goats used to create their distinguished cheeses.

Dear Mum,
I am very sorry I haven't written for so long. I am writing to tell you that I am fine and very happy with my new job; next month, I even get to travel on business!
In my country, spring has already set in. It is quite warm and really sunny all day long. Every morning, I go out for a walk in the park before going to work. I usually have a coffee with my friends. They speak Spanish quite well, but we usually speak English together.
The area here is very large and filled with museums and sculptures. I am sending some photos of these places.
