Today people's thinking about racism has developed much more unlike a few years Ago. +But There is still a lot left for all people to realize that we are the same.

++A few years ago white people hated them for the fact That they saw them inferior, and especially black women much more, until they Reached the point where some places could not go or for example, black women Couldn’t go to women's toilets white.++At Least these very strong things have changed today, but there is still much to Change since racism hasn’t yet disappeared.+Since Many times I have seen the street as some people distanced themselves from Those people just because of their skin color.++ In Conclusion, today people still have a closed mind.People must realize that... Informal Email to Ana

Catching Up and Plans for Sunday

Hi Ana!

I'm fine, thank you. I hope you are too. I'd love to go for a walk on Sunday. It's perfect!

Pyjama Party Mishap

Did I tell you about my pyjama party? Some friends and I decided to have a party in my house to celebrate the beginning of the Easter holidays. We ordered some kebabs from the new place which opened two months ago. The problem is that the delivery boy didn't know my street, so we went out to find him. Unfortunately, one of my friends closed the door behind us and we couldn't get back in! At that moment, there was a procession along my street! We were really embarrassed!

Meeting Time for Sunday's Walk

Anyway, what time shall we meet on Sunday? I'm looking forward to the walk.

Love,... Continue reading "Informal Email, Advertising's Impact, and the Benefits of Team Sports" »

A Fun Basketball Match in Mataró: My Experience

Classified in English

Written on in English with a size of 839 bytes

Hi Paul,

How are you? I hope you're well. This time I'm writing to tell you about a sporting event I have seen.

I went to see a basketball match in the town of Mataró with my best friend Mireia. I really enjoyed it - it was a lot of fun, mostly because of the people who were there. After the match, we met a lot of new people in the park. Most people stayed for at least a few hours after the game, just enjoying the sunshine.

I'm not that interested in sports, but I'm fond of football. Our team is famous in my school. I suggest you try playing football. You are tall and strong, so it will be easy for you. I like this kind of sport because there is a lot of movement. I think you should give it a try!

Please call me!

Analysis of 'The Doll's House' by K. Mansfield

Classified in English

Written on in English with a size of 2.48 KB

Setting

In time and place: Small town, everyone from the area goes to the same unique school. Kids from different family backgrounds merge

Symbols

The dolls house: represents power, wealth, and privilege. Excuse for segregation to the Kelveys, but a point of union between Kezia and them

The smell: 'But perfect, perfect little house! Who could possibly mind the smell. It was part of the joy, part of the newness'

Metaphor

People and things can look perfect on the outside and be the contrary on the inside

Rite of passage

  1. Separation (mistreatment to the Kelveys) 'the Kelveys were shunned by everyone' 'Can I ask the Kelveys just once? Certainly no'
  2. Then liminality (in-betweenness) 'You can come and see our dolls house if you want to'
  3. And finally aggregation.
