Saturday: Gabriel's Favorite Day in Linares

Gabriel, a Technical Administration student from Linares, shares his experience:

My favorite day of the week is Saturday because I can finally disconnect from the routine! I commute a lot and get up very early during the week for my evening classes and work, so on Saturday, it is nice to get up a bit later. I stay in bed until about 10:00 AM to get some proper rest. Then, I usually spend some time in the garden taking care of my plants or checking on some mechanical details on my car. Saturday is the best day to work on my hobbies without any rush.

Family Time and Entertainment

I often have lunch with my family and spend time with my aunt. It is great because we share a good meal, talk about how our week went, and catch up quietly. After lunch, I sometimes spend the afternoon with my girlfriend; we like to watch shows together, especially an intense drama like The Sopranos or catching up on Attack on Titan. If there are important football matches, I also take some time to watch the game.

In the evening, I usually relax or go out with friends:

• We often hang out to talk or grab a quick bite.
• I never go to bed before 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning, since there is no need to wake up early the next day.

Sunday: Fernando's Favorite Day in Parral

Fernando, an Agricultural Engineering student from Parral, shares his experience:

My favorite day of the week is Sunday because it is my official day to completely unwind! I study far from home and have a very hectic routine during the week, so on Sunday, I love to sleep in and stay in bed until around 11:00 AM. Then, I usually head out to the countryside to help my family with the farm or just enjoy nature. Parral has beautiful rural areas, so Sunday is the perfect day to breathe some fresh air and leave all the city stress behind.

Barbecues and Creative Hobbies

I always have a big barbecue lunch with my parents and siblings. It is fantastic because my dad is an expert at the grill, and we listen to folk music while we eat. After lunch, I sometimes practice playing the guitar or work on my photography from about 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, especially if the afternoon light is good for taking pictures.

In the evening, I usually stay at home to enjoy my hobbies:

• I watch basketball or play video games online with my friends.
• I never go to bed before midnight because I like to make the most of my last hours of freedom.
