Everything has its pros and cons. In the country, noise pollution is significantly lower. Also, the air is cleaner and, generally, there is a more peaceful life, without the rush of the city, including:
- Buses
- Subways
- Streetcars
- Cars
Nevertheless, any doubts disappear when you wake up in the morning, open the window, and see that dream countryside. Notwithstanding, depending on the rural area in which you live, you have to travel for almost everything, since houses in the country are usually isolated from the city.
On the one hand, some environmental factors of the country seem to favor its villagers, who suffer fewer cases of cancer, have less hypertension, and develop fewer psychological disorders such as anxiety and depression.
On the other hand, living in the city makes its inhabitants more vulnerable to infectious and cardiovascular diseases.
To sum up, last but not least, I think living in the country is healthier and more peaceful; you don’t need to worry about anything, and everything is so beautiful and green. Hypothetically, I prefer living in the country to living in the city because of the pollution, noise, and stress.
The Advantages and Disadvantages of Rural Life
Everything has good and bad aspects. In the country, acoustic pollution is much lower compared to other places like the city. We can see that the air is cleaner and, in general, people live more calmly, without the noises of the city, such as:
- Buses
- Subways
- Cars
However, depending on the rural place you live in, you have to travel for everything, such as going to the supermarket or buying clothes.
In spite of that, some environmental factors of the country favor its villagers. Therefore, people suffer fewer cases of cancer, have less hypertension, and develop fewer psychological disorders such as depression. Nowadays, a lot of people suffer from these diseases.
By contrast, living in the city makes it easier for its residents to contract infectious and cardiovascular diseases.
I will conclude by saying that I think living in the country is healthier. Most of the people who live there say that they feel so relaxed when they open the window of their houses and see the green gardens and all the peace of that place. It seems that you don’t need to worry about anything; everything is perfect. Therefore, I prefer living in the country to living in the city because of the pollution, noise, and stress.
