Returning to Primavera Sound 2026

This review covers my experience attending Primavera Sound 2026 for three days with three friends. It was our second consecutive year at the festival, and after having such a great time last year, we were really looking forward to coming back.

A Strong Lineup and Non-Stop Action

Overall, the experience was fantastic. The lineup was incredibly strong, and we enjoyed almost every concert we attended. One of the things that makes Primavera Sound so exciting is that there is always something happening. At the same time, this can also be stressful because you spend the whole day rushing from one stage to another, trying not to miss any of the artists you want to see. There were so many great performances that it often felt impossible to fit everything into a single day.

The Highlight: The Cure Live

The concert I was most excited about was The Cure. Seeing them live was a very special moment for me. I have listened to their music for years, so finally watching them perform on stage felt almost unreal. I was particularly impressed by Robert Smith. Considering his age and the band's long career, it was amazing to see them still delivering such a powerful and emotional performance. Without a doubt, it was the highlight of the entire festival.

Challenges: Weather and Cancellations

The worst part of the experience was the first day. Unfortunately, heavy rain caused significant disruption, and several concerts had to be cancelled. This was disappointing because some of the artists we wanted to see the most were affected. However, these circumstances were beyond the organizers' control, and the situation improved considerably over the following days.

Final Thoughts on the Festival

In conclusion, Primavera Sound 2026 was an excellent experience despite the bad weather at the beginning. Attending with my three friends made it even more enjoyable, and the quality of the performances more than compensated for the setbacks. The festival once again offered:

I would definitely recommend it to any music fan and would happily attend again next year.
