Financial Habits and Saving

  • Do you receive an allowance? Yes, I receive it from my dad on a regular basis, but I don't spend it; I try to save it for when I want something specific.
  • Should children receive money? Yes, or they should work if they are not too young. I think that having money helps them learn how to manage it.
  • Have you ever saved for a goal? Yes, I don't remember how long I saved, but it was for a PlayStation and some games.

The Reality of Online Shopping

  • Pros and Cons: The advantages are that you can check the website at any time, request what you want, check availability, and avoid going to the store for small items. The disadvantages are that if you don't have references, you can get ripped off; if it's clothing, you can buy the wrong size; and sometimes shipping costs are high.
  • Pandemic Shopping: During the pandemic, I preferred to buy online, especially food or electronic devices. While I bought clothes a couple of times, it is much better to see them in person.

Consumer Preferences and Future Trends

  • Risky Purchases: I would never buy expensive electronic devices online because of the risk of being cheated.
  • Favorite Stores: I don't really have favorite stores; I buy things I like regardless of the brand. I know a clothing store for young people with nice items, but I have never shopped there.
  • Future Outlook: I believe that in the future, there will be ways to see how clothes fit digitally. As for other items, it is just a matter of time before technology catches up.

Sentimental Value and Minimalism

  • Decluttering: I have toys I no longer use, but because I have a special affection for them, I would not get rid of them.
  • Cherished Objects: Yes, I have a necklace a friend gave me 10 years ago and a Hot Wheels car from another friend. We were inseparable, so those objects are vivid memories.
  • Impulse Buying: We often buy things for pleasure or for the moment, but after realizing they are no longer useful, they are usually given away or sold.
  • Mindful Consumption: At the time of purchase, we should consider if items are really necessary or just a whim. Things tend to take up a lot of space, so we could have more room in our homes for what we truly need.
