Designing My Dream Home: Features and Aspirations

There are many nice, big, and luxurious houses all over the world, often located in major cities and inhabited by wealthy families. Nowadays, all the new houses are fabulous, but some of them are very expensive.

I will describe my ideal house by imagining my adult life with my family. My ideal home is a semi-detached house placed in the center of London. I don't need a very big house; it is enough if it meets the following requirements:

Interior Design and Family Needs

  • A separate room for each of my children.
  • A large master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom for my wife and me.
  • A spacious kitchen.
  • A comfortable lounge area with numerous sofas and a large dining table where the whole family can eat together.
  • An enormous TV in the lounge where we can watch all kinds of movies, TV shows, or animation series.
  • Extra rooms, including another full bathroom and a dedicated games room to spend our time having fun.

Exterior Amenities and Location

The exterior of the house would feature a big garden with a lot of plants and flowers, complete with a swimming pool and a field for soccer or tennis courts. I would like to live in a great housing estate with many neighbors and wonderful views of the sea.

Reality Check: Achieving the Dream

I understand this is a dream, very difficult to achieve. However, nowadays people need a lot of money for the acquisition of such a beautiful house. So, ultimately, I would be satisfied with a normal flat, provided my family is happy there.

Rome, Italy: Iconic Monuments and Must-See Sights

I had the opportunity to travel to Rome when I finished my high-school studies, which makes it easier for me to describe the most important monuments and places in the city.

The Roman Colosseum

The most important monument of Rome is the Roman Colosseum, a grand amphitheater where spectators once watched gladiator fights and public spectacles. It was built in the first century and has become one of the most iconic surviving monuments of Roman architecture.

The Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi)

The most famous and prestigious fountain in the world is located in Rome, called the Fontana di Trevi. Millions of people constantly visit the fountain, and generally, everyone throws coins into the water to ask for a wish, a tradition believed to ensure their return to Rome.

Vatican City: St. Peter's and the Sistine Chapel

Next, visitors can tour Vatican City, where we can visit St. Peter's Square and the renowned Sistine Chapel. The chapel houses one of the most famous artistic treasures of all time, featuring murals painted by Michelangelo, including “The Creation of Adam” and “The Last Judgment.”

Other Essential Roman Landmarks

Other important monuments we can visit include:

  • Piazza Navona (Novona Square)
  • The Pantheon, where we can find the tombs of some of the greatest Roman emperors.
  • The Castel Sant'Angelo, situated near the Tiber River.

Without a doubt, visiting Rome is one of the things every person must do, because we can find sights that are truly fascinating and beautiful, and which can only be seen there.
