Ninja Assassin: A Cinematic Masterpiece

Film Critic: Ninja Assassin premiered in the US on November 25, 2009, and in Europe on December 26, 2009. I believe it is one of the best ninja films ever created. It avoids the typical origin story tropes, focusing instead on a man trained to be a killing machine. Everything goes well for the clan chief until they capture and kill the protagonist's love interest. The vengeful Raizo betrays the clan and prepares for the perfect revenge against his adoptive father. In Berlin, a Europol agent investigates the clans and assists Raizo in his mission to eliminate the clan chief.

The Loss of Melilla's Historical Architecture

The Death of a Piece of History: Tomorrow, Monday, December 28, one of the oldest buildings in the center of Melilla, standing since 1927, will be demolished. Having survived the Spanish Civil War in 1936, the structure can no longer be maintained. Architects and the Melilla Government decided on its demolition last week for safety reasons. A new apartment building will be constructed in its place, featuring a plaque to commemorate the historic site.

Living in Large vs. Small Cities

Vivir en una ciudad grande o pequeña: Today, the differences between living in a small town and a big city are minimal, as many amenities found in large cities are now available in smaller ones. In the past, one had to travel to a big city for most needs, but that is no longer the case. Personally, I prefer large cities because everything is accessible if you know where to look.

The Ethics of Hunting

La Caza: Similar to the debate surrounding bullfighting, hunting remains a contentious issue. Historically, human survival was directly linked to the dominion over other species for sustenance. However, the debate shifts when discussing hunting as a sport or cultural practice. The core question remains: should it be abolished or permitted, given that hunting for human survival is no longer a necessity?
