Improving Education Systems and Teaching Standards
Many people agree with these results: education in our country does not have a good basis, unlike the Nordic countries, where teachers are considered the number one priority in the classroom.
In my opinion, they should choose teachers who prove to be the best and ensure they are given high-quality training. While, on the other hand, it seems unfair that a person who likes to teach cannot practice as a teacher for the simple fact of not being "the best." Additionally, students should have better study habits for better academic results. Generally, I think what is wrong with our education system is that it gives more value to passing rather than the learner.
The Role and Risks of Modern Technology
More and more people are hooked on new technologies, and they do not pay attention to those who are around them. Today, we could not live without technology because it has created a fundamental need for people to use it.
Technology allows us to find a lot of information. Before the internet, this was much more difficult because there were only written documents; therefore, the internet allows us to find information quickly. However, this information is not always true, so we have to be careful. It also causes negative effects among people that make it imperative for us to be cautious, as there are several diseases associated with excessive use.
Addressing Discrimination and Bullying in Society
Many people are not aware that they are participating in one way or another in this type of behavior, but others, however, discriminate against those who do not share their ideologies, culture, etc. The people suffering from this marginalization come to feel very bad and very often take extreme decisions, even reaching the point of suicide. For this reason, one might consider that discrimination is a crime.
Definitely, I think that this bad behavior towards others should be punished in some way because there are many cases of people who commit suicide because of this exclusion caused by certain people who do not believe in equality between genders, cultures, and sexuality. It would be good if this was controlled at school, as the main reason for suicide among teenagers is "bullying." It would be good to have strict control over the behavior of many students towards others in schools because the main reason why teenagers commit suicide is bullying.
Understanding the Roots of Aggression and Respect
On the other hand, it may be that aggressive behavior towards others is due to the education their parents have taught them, or a bad experience that has made them reject some people. Perhaps social discrimination has to do with the generalization that we all do; for example, when we see someone with certain characteristics acting in a way that we do not like, we tend to think that anyone who looks like them will act the same. However, everyone is different and everyone should be respected by all.
Conclusion: A Call for Equality and Respect
In conclusion, discrimination is a behavior that sometimes generates death; therefore, it should indirectly be considered a crime. This should be strictly controlled because the statistics regarding deaths from discrimination are alarming. To fix this situation, we must understand that everyone is different and we all have the same rights; we may have different ideologies, but all must be respected.
