Mechanical Amplification Systems
TEMA 6. ECA AMP consists of a pinion (1) that meshes with the rack (2) of the probe axis (3), converting rectilinear motion into rotation. AS TRANS occurs through the toothed wheel, which is solid with the pinion. The RELATIONSHIP NUMBER is (6, 8, 10, 1, 3, 4, 5, 2, 7, 9).
Mechanism Functionality
- AS PRE GARA: Achieved through a coil spring (see Figure 1).
- GAME EVITA: The coil spring prevents mechanical backlash.
- DQ D DEPEND A WIDE WIDE MECA: Depends on the number of gears in the mechanism and the required resolution.
- CMC will upgrade 0: Achieved by rotating the sphere.
Types of Comparators
The different types of comparators include: mechanical amplification, gears, minimeters, pneumatic, hydraulic, optical, profile projectors, and electrical/electronic systems. Contact type mini-comparators are mechanical, high-precision devices that provide uniform contact pressure of less than 100g.
Joint Comparator Mechanisms
These utilize an amplifying mechanism composed of levers and gears. The movement of the transducer is transmitted through levers to a toothed sector gear, then through a gear train with a pinion attached to the pointer. Calculation: tan(x) = 2.09 / 60 = 1.995°.
Surface Plates and Verification Tools
TEMA 7. TABLE: Constructed from polished natural stone, crystallized alumina, or pearlitic cast iron, providing high accuracy and precision. Tolerances depend on the required level of precision.
Applications of Surface Plates
- Reference plane
- Mapping parts
- Correction of flatness
Verification Instruments
Instruments for linear verification include fixed-size internal/external gauges, internal/external thread gauges, and Johansson gauges. These are used for verification rather than measurement, as they do not provide a numerical value.
Operational Procedures
- Hole Verification: Allows for the verification of hole dimensions.
- Process Utilization: Adjust to size using a micrometer or special devices via a zero-gauge pattern. To check, move the pointer to observe diameter variations.
- Table Gauges: Made of hardened steel.
- Practical Operations: Elements drawn to gauge, measured internal diameter, and control of wheelbase.
Care and Maintenance of Gauge Blocks
When using gauge blocks (calas), follow these precautions:
- Use at 20°C.
- Clean surfaces before use.
- Apply a lubricant.
- Clean hands before handling.
- Do not expose to humid or abrasive atmospheres.
- Handle with care to avoid damage.
