Monday, May 17th
Today is the first day I write in my new diary. The day was very boring because at school we had to copy a lot, and my friend Esther was absent. After eating at home, I went to Celia's house to borrow a dress. Then, I went home to study math, and after dinner, I watched Física o Química on TV.
Tuesday, May 18th
Today was a very special day because my parents gave me a beautiful white dog. His name is Balú and he is three months old. My grandmother came to see him with my aunt, and I am very happy. Today, Lorena told me she hurt her foot. I really enjoyed this day.
Wednesday, May 19th
Today I went on a school excursion to Aranjuez. I had a great time because we visited a palace and saw the wedding dress of the Princess of Spain. In the evening, I went shopping for trousers, sandals, and a necklace for my aunt's wedding. There are only two days left until the wedding and I am very nervous.
Thursday, May 20th
Today was a fun day because I went to the fair for Children's Day and went on many rides. At school, I felt very sad because Jose Ramon, my religion teacher, is retiring. Only one day left until the wedding! I already have my outfit, accessories, shoes, and purse. I am very satisfied.
Friday, May 21st
Today is my aunt's wedding day! I am very nervous, and I even had to read in the church. Everything went well, and my favorite part was the wedding kiss. Afterward, we went to the restaurant Los Arcos and later went dancing. My father was the godfather and looked very handsome. I took many photos. Lorena, Esther, and Sandra went to eat at ParqueSur today. I am very happy.
Saturday, May 22nd
Today I am very tired because I slept very little. In the evening, I went to Lorena's house to play Monopoly and then to 100 Montaditos to eat a sandwich. It was a boring day.
Sunday, May 23rd
Today I spent time with my neighbor María and her family from Aldea del Fresno. We went by bicycle to a river, but the water was very cold. At home, Balú went to the veterinarian, who said he is very healthy. I am sad because school starts tomorrow.
