Article 74: Public Entertainment Classification
The government, through the competent regulatory body, shall oversee public entertainment and shows. It must report on their nature and specify age groups for which the location or time of presentation is unsuitable.
Paragraph: Those responsible for public entertainment and shows must display, in a visible and easily accessible area at the entrance, clear information regarding the nature of the show and the age range specified in the classification certificate.
Article 75: Access to Entertainment
Every child or adolescent shall have access to public entertainment and shows classified as appropriate for their age group.
Paragraph: Children under ten years of age may only enter and remain at presentation or exhibition venues when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Article 76: Broadcasting Standards
Radio and television stations shall only display programs during recommended time slots that are educational, artistic, cultural, or informative for children and adolescents.
Paragraph: No show shall be presented or announced without a warning regarding its classification prior to its transmission, presentation, or exhibition.
Article 77: Video Sales and Rentals
Owners, directors, officers, and employees of companies operating in the sale or rental of video programming must ensure that no sale or lease violates the rating assigned by the competent body.
Paragraph: The packaging of such media must display information regarding the nature of the work and the intended age group.
Article 78: Publication Packaging
Journals and publications containing material inappropriate or inadequate for children and adolescents must be placed in sealed packaging with a warning regarding their contents.
Paragraph: Publishers must ensure that covers containing pornographic or obscene imagery are protected by opaque packaging.
Article 79: Youth-Oriented Publications
Magazines and publications aimed at children and youth must not contain illustrations, photographs, captions, stories, or advertising related to alcoholic beverages, tobacco, weapons, or ammunition, while respecting the ethical and social values of the individual and the family.
Article 80: Restricted Establishments
Heads of establishments that commercially operate billiards, pool, or similar games, or gambling houses—defined as those where bets take place—must ensure that children and adolescents are not permitted to enter or remain on the premises, and must post warning notices for the public.
