Drug Trafficking Operation in Cádiz

Last year, a drug smuggling operation took place on the coast of Cádiz using boats and speedboats. The suspects were involved in drug dealing and belonged to an organized criminal group dedicated to drug trafficking that had been pursued by the Guardia Civil for a long time.

Residents alerted the Guardia Civil because the drug boats were near the coast, creating a dangerous situation. As a result, officers launched a police operation. However, the patrol boats were not as fast as the smugglers’ speedboats. During the operation, two sergeants from the Guardia Civil specialized in organized crime tragically lost their lives.

Finally, thanks to witness statements, officers identified and arrested the suspects. They were described as tall, approximately 35 years old, with short hair and brown eyes; one suspect had a tattoo on his left arm.

My Journey to Becoming a Civil Guard

Last year, I was studying to become a Civil Guard. I left my job to dedicate my time to my studies.

I woke up at 7:00 AM to train with my instructor, which gave me the energy to study all day. In my free time, I spent time with my boyfriend. Nowadays, I am a Civil Guard student. I usually wake up at 6:30 AM and have breakfast before classes. I have shooting lessons with lieutenants, and I wear my equipment belt with my pistol, magazine, and handcuffs. In my free time, I always go running. Then, I have dinner and go to bed at 10:30 PM.

Finally, I am proud of myself. As a result of all the effort I made last year, today I am here.

A4 Motorway Traffic Accident Report

On Tuesday night, May 5th, 2026, a traffic accident occurred on the A4 motorway heading south towards Madrid between two vehicles, which forced the motorway to be closed for several hours.

The occupants of the grey Peugeot (plate 9872KKJ) stated that an engine fault warning appeared and the car started moving slowly. Consequently, the white van (plate 7363JJH) behind them crashed heavily into it. Upon arrival, officers observed that the van did not have its headlights on and was speeding. In addition, the driver did not have a valid driving licence.

Fortunately, nobody was injured, and the van driver is currently under investigation. Drivers are always advised to use headlights at night and to drive with caution.

Personal Account: A4 Motorway Collision

Last week, I was involved in a traffic accident while driving on the A4 motorway towards Madrid. It happened between my grey Peugeot (plate 2346JJH) and a white van.

While I was driving, an engine fault warning appeared and my car started moving slowly. Therefore, the white van (plate 7363JJH) behind me crashed heavily into my vehicle. I felt shocked and my hands were shaking, but I was able to call the police. When they arrived, the officers observed that the van did not have its headlights on and was speeding. Furthermore, the driver did not have a driving licence.

Fortunately, I was not injured and arrived home safely. The van driver is currently under investigation.
