Formal Complaint Letter

Hospital Managing Director

Dear Director,

I am writing to formally complain about the treatment I received during my recent four-day stay at your hospital.

First, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the nursing staff. They were consistently unfriendly and appeared unapproachable. When I required urgent assistance, there were significant delays. Furthermore, the care provided lacked gentleness and compassion; tasks were performed hastily and poorly.

Secondly, I am dissatisfied with the hospital's facilities and conditions:

  • Bed Quality: The bed in my room was broken and produced a loud, persistent noise that prevented me from sleeping.
  • Utilities: There was no hot water in the sink.
  • Environment: I was unable to sleep at night due to the cold.
  • Catering: The food was inedible and lacked variety.

These issues caused me considerable distress. I am deeply disappointed with both the staff and the facility conditions. I would be grateful if you could investigate this matter urgently. I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,
Lorena Gonzalez Pons

Biography: The Person I Admire Most

My Mother, Maria Asunción Pons

My mother, Maria Asunción Pons, is the person I admire most. She was born in Barcelona on August 15th. In her youth, she had very long black hair that reached past her waist. She lived with her parents, Joan and Josefa, and her two brothers, Antoni and Joan Josep. As the youngest of the three, she was well-protected by her brothers, who ensured her safety at school. My mother was a quiet, kind-hearted girl with many friends, and she spent her happy childhood playing in the park after school.

When my mother was seventeen, she met my father, Francisco. Despite my father being ten years her senior, they fell in love and married. When my mother was twenty, they had their first child, my brother Marc. I was born ten years later, when my mother was thirty. I was a very naughty, blonde child, and my mother loved my brother and me more than anything in the world.

Today, my mother is a remarkable woman who works at a golf club while caring for her family. I admire her because she is my role model. She is a kind, fun, and strong person who assists those in need and is incredibly hardworking. Despite the many challenges life has thrown her way, she never gives up. For all these reasons, she is the person I admire most.
