BEACH VOLLEYBALL: The rules for beach volleyball are quite similar to those of conventional volleyball. However, these are a few important differences: •The teams are made up of two players although in recreational settings people sometimes play 3-on-3, 4-on-4, mixed teams, etc.
•The playing area is smaller, measuring 16×8 meters.
•Players do not have fixed positions on the court.
•Matches are played in two sets. Every set is played to 21 points with a minimum advantage of two points. It a third set is needed to break a draw, it is played to 15 points with a minimum advantage of two points. After every 7 points scores (or 5 in the third set) the players change sides.
