The Educational Project of the Center (PEC) is the planning instrument which lists and defines the identity of the center. It sets the global framework, establishes the educational goals to be achieved, and adjusts the established curriculum.

Purpose of the PEC

The primary purpose is to ensure consistency and personality within the educational centers.

Specific Objectives

• Align MEC programs to the socio-cultural and educational needs of the environment and the center.
• Establish and facilitate participation in the schools for various external and internal agents of the educational community, allowing greater significance for what is done in the center outwards and vice versa.
• Promote relations and the exploitation of environmental resources for knowledge through extra-curricular activities (cultural centers, field trips, etc.).
• Relate the principles and ideals of the institution to the sociocultural reality in a mutual interactive relationship, which leads to real socio-educational research through continual reworking and rethinking.
