We can all remember at least 2 times in our lives where we felt that money would solve all our problems.The fact that money gives you the power to buy things does not translate into making you happy. There are psychological and emotional points which also play a large role in your ability to handle the status of being rich. However, in my opinion, it has both advantages and disadvantages.
On the plus side:
First of all, you have the ability to buy anything you want to. You can also visit places you couldnt afford before. For example you can buy expensive clothes and many other things like big houses, huge residences in the most beautiful resorts in the world, expensive cars and unimaginable luxury for, how we like to call ourselves, normal people.
A second point is that you can do things you love instead of slaving away at a job you dont truly enjoy. Travelling all over the world, meet new people, new cultures. And if you are enough rich you can buy your own island.
Also it gives freedom to make choices where money is a deciding factor, like working for a charity instead of a salary. Helping other people in need and people who dont share that kind of happiness.
In additional to this, You don't have to worry about being able to pay your bills, food, medical issues.
On the minus side:
Firstly, You might get yourself some false friends that try to take advantage of your being well-off. It's probably difficult to figure out who is just being nice and a true friend, and who is having other intentions.
Secondly, you cannot buy friendship, love or health. You can have as much money as you want when you cant find the true love or if you are not healthy.
Another point is friends and family asking for loans. It is when they keep asking you for money and they dont care about your feelings.
A final and a very important point is that life is reached and no goals to work towards make life seem pointless. Most of these people fall in depression and no 1 helps them out.
Summed up, there are certainly both positive and negative aspects of being rich but most important is how people react to it and use it.In todays world, money brings great opportunities, and thats a fact, but we need to know that like all other vices, it can destroy us and our family so its important to think well about what next step with it will be.
