Laura Caro's Future Aspirations

My name is Laura Caro, and I am the second of three sisters. Many people know me because I look a lot like my twin, Natalia. Since it's often hard to tell us apart, they call us "Caro".

I was born on February 13, 2001, in Barcelona. This year, I've come of age, and that has made me think about my future. My name is Vera, I am in this house because I was invited by Mr Owen but I don’t know who this person is. While I was dining in the house suddenly I heard a gramophone accusing me of being guilty of the death of a little boy.

Another thing that we know is that Mr Owen is one of us and all people are suspicious.

My alibi to defend myself is that all my life I was a good person. After that I left my job and went to live away from the world until I received this invitation. I don't know anyone in this house and I don't know who they are or what they have done to be here. I just want to live in peace and I don't have time or desire to organize things of this kind. For all these reasons I am innocent.

I think that Doctor Amstrong must have poisoned

Macbeth: Prophecies and Destiny

Macbeth presents the witches' prophecies as seemingly inevitable truths, yet they also function as catalysts for Macbeth's ambition. These prophecies manipulate Macbeth, ultimately placing his destiny in his own hands.

He believes in the prophecies but remains uncertain whether they will come to pass without his intervention. The witches never detail *how* he will become king. When Duncan names his son Malcolm as the heir to the throne, Macbeth makes a crucial decision that shapes his fate:

"All hail Macbeth, that shalt be King hereafter!"

"The Prince of Cumberland! That is a step. On which I must fall down, or else o'erleap." - Macbeth expresses his jealousy at not being named heir.

"Be bloody, bold, and resolute;... Continue reading "Macbeth and Paulina: Destinies Intertwined" »
