Telephone Network Links and Subscriber Lines
Red Links
The plants are linked by physical circuits or links. If telephone communications are established between users belonging to different central cities, there is a connection between intercity links. If plants are in the same city, the links will be urban.
One group forms a central core area, and the links between different stations are set by the networks of links.
Red Subscriber
The section of line formed by the subscriber network is also known as the user loop, local loop, user network, or last mile. The subscriber network is formed by the combination of components that allow connection power between the subscriber equipment and the local exchange to which they belong, so as to form a single physical circuit between the power station and the subscriber issue. The tie lines between subscribers and the plants are subscriber lines or loops. This stretch of telephone network is the most expensive, since there are as many subscriber lines as subscribers. So it must meet some conditions that ensure the correct use of the loop and its smooth operation:
- The loop possesses sufficient elasticity.
- It submits a good quality of telephone signal transmission.
- It is as economical as possible.
Subscriber networks, in turn, are divided into different sections, starting first in the main distribution center and finishing last in the user's phone. These stages are: the outside line, the line of thrust, and the interior line subscriber.
Outdoor Line
This is the section of the network subscriber that goes from the PBX to the terminal boxes.
The outside line groups the pairs of subscriber wires grouped into sets of large capacity, which in turn is divided into three sections:
- Subscriber-Home Delivery.
- Power cords.
- Distribution cables.
Home Distributor for Subscribers
This is the element that is responsible for making the interconnection between the telephone switching center and the outside line.
It physically connects subscriber pairs coming from the outside with internal switching equipment of the plant.
The couple come together in a known wire cable hose terminal from it are divided by vertical strips. The strips are mounted on metal frames that serve as support, with this provision are the distributors.
Through the wire bridge connection is made between all pairs that have come from abroad with a corresponding pair of central line.
Vendors are divided into numbered vertical strips which are composed of vertical, thus forming groups of subscribers.
In addition there horizontal strips, these interconnections on the one hand the ends of subscriber lines that come directly from the PBX and the other bridges threads for subscribers outside plant.
