Income
The income figure is derived by multiplying the quantity sold by its market price. This figure is set by the free market as fluctuations in supply and demand occur. To increase revenue is to increase the product quantity sold.
This depends on the quality and the evaluation of the editorial graphics and their ease of communication.
- Sales to the Nth: This is the value of all copies sold through the various channels of distribution releases, with the added value of not being acquired by the public loose on the premises of the publication itself. The selling price is fixed independently.
- Subscriptions: These are made with all copies of a publication, previously sent to a recipient, upon request, and you pay in advance the asking price, according to an express contract.
Essential elements: contract + character, + consignments continuity over a given time period; + previous request by the potential subscriber; + prepayment from the front desk of copies.
Circulation
Objectives should reach the employer:

Then you go through two cycles: circulation, achieving profitability, and diffusion, achieving the transmission of content to the public.
Circulation Department Structure
The Department examines the circumstances of market information, deals with selling, distributing, and receiving.
The department is divided into different sections:
- Subscription delivery services
- Retail sales
- Subscriptions
- Promotion
- Transport
The sale of subscriptions section is responsible for getting new subscribers, the Advocacy Section is responsible for their own advertising campaigns, and the transportation section is responsible for organizing and carrying out the allocation and transfer of physical copies.
Circulation and Control System
Diffusion is the action of a periodical to the public by either method.
Introducing assumes that information is in a process of circulation.
Circulation of copies are printed at one time and every edit, regardless of their distribution.
Individual subscriptions are those copies that are sent periodically and continuously to a known recipient called a subscriber.
Retail Sales
Unsold goods are not part of the circulation and must be subtracted from the total number of copies distributed.
Regular Services
Regular services are copies provided free of charge and continuously to certain natural persons.
Promotional Service
Promotional service includes all delivered and sent specimens without continuity in time to natural persons with certain special circumstances.
