The greenhouse effect is a process in which thermal radiation emitted by the planetary surface is absorbed by atmospheric greenhouse gases and re-emitted in all directions.

Part of this radiation returns to the surface, increasing its temperature.

This phenomenon brings many casualties, affecting humans, animals, and even vegetation. Jungles are also considered victims. If vegetation disappears, the food supply for pandas will not be sufficient to sustain them. Animals like the Asian tiger, orangutan, polar bear, and elephant are facing similar situations.

The Impact of Man-Made Greenhouse Gases

International companies manipulate non-natural resources, burning them to generate energy. However, this creates greenhouse gases, weakening the ozone layer and allowing the sun's radiation to penetrate the Earth with greater intensity.

Extreme Climate Events and Their Consequences

The catastrophic events caused by this phenomenon include droughts and vegetation loss, impacting our food supply. This consequence of climate change also increases the temperature of lakes and oceans, endangering marine life. The same happens with trees and the Arctic; these territories will disappear. The disappearance of the Arctic will cause the sea level to rise, diminishing habitable territories.

Why Temperatures Are Increasing

High temperatures worldwide are caused by greenhouse gases. When we transform coal or copper to use their energy, they undergo a process of incineration. The smoke released during this process, known as greenhouse gases, rises to the ozone layer, tearing and causing holes in it. Finally, UV rays penetrate the ozone layer, increasing the planet's temperature, leading to skin cancer, drought, melting of polar glaciers, and more.
