The God Who Cares

1.1. God is found through Jesus: He is a transcendent being. Being the son of God is better known to man.

1.2. Jesus was a loving father: He takes care of his creatures through his deeds and words. God always forgives.

Near to God

The Jews found God unique and special, like a mother.

Jesus reveals a God who is close and friendly.

The God of Providence

God is immanent, reflected in his creation, yet transcends us, beyond our definitions.

  • Some think that man has a capricious fate that depends on chance.
  • Atheists: They deny God's existence, believing God is a human invention.
  • Agnostics: Prefer not to ask questions about God.

Providence is the presence of God as Creator in all creation.

Reflections of God

  • God is reflected in nature.
  • God is reflected in people.
  • God is reflected in the love we have and that we share.

God Does Not Punish People

God is inviting. He does not punish us, but wants us to be happy and close to him.

He sees our actions and is saddened when we turn away from Him.


The Human Being Created by God

1.1. Human beings, children of God.

God chose to create human beings to relate to Him. The Bible says that man and woman were created in the image and likeness of God and are considered his children.

1.2. Properties of the person according to the Christian faith.

  • Freedom: We must freely choose to love and discover that we become more human.
  • To be social: The need for others is important for our completeness.
  • Responsible for creation: God placed man and woman as guardians of creation.

The Person is Always Something More

2.1. We are complex beings with feelings and emotions, and the ability to create and think.

2.2. We are all equal but different. Our relationships can take two forms: a relationship with God or relationships with others.

The Person Has a Unique Value

3.1. Dignity.

Dignity is the irreplaceable value of human life. It exists between men and women and should be respected by all.

3.2. Rights and duties of the individual.

The duties are basic principles that everyone must meet.

Rights are the elements we need to live in dignity.

Called to Convert the World into a Paradise

God was good and designed us to be happy and enjoy his love in the beauty of creation.

He gave us a universe without end so that we will make it a paradise.
