Accident Modes
Shock
Shock: Vehicle in contact with the track fixture. Simple accident.
Overturning
Overturning: Simple accident. The tires are no longer in contact with the track.
V. Bell
V. Bell: Vehicle rotated on its transverse axis.
V. Barrel
V. Barrel: Vehicle turned on its longitudinal axis.
Output via
Output via: The vehicle moves out of the way by circulating. Accident can be simple or complex.
Collisions
Collisions: Complex accidents involving contact between more than one moving traffic unit.
Front Collision
Front:
- Approximate central longitudinal axes coincide.
- Eccentric axes parallel but not identical.
- Angular longitudinal axes form an angle less than 90 degrees.
Onslaught Collision
Onslaught: At least one party in contact is the side of a vehicle.
Perpendicular Onslaught
Perpendicular: Axes form a 90º angle.
Oblique Onslaught
Oblique: Axes form an angle exceeding 90 degrees.
Reflexes Collision
Reflexes: Several contacts between the same traffic units.
Rear-End Collision (X reach)
X reach: When 2 or more vehicles collide so that the front one hits the back of another.
Scraping Collision (X scraping)
X scraping: Contact between the sides of both units.
Positive Scraping
Positive: Vehicles circulating in opposite directions.
Negative Scraping
Negative: Vehicles moving in the same direction.
Rampant Accident
Rampant: Characteristic of urban accidents. Notes the discrepancy between traffic units involved. Describes contact between a pedestrian and vehicle.
Police Report
Police Report: A document that records all actions aimed at clarifying facts that may constitute a crime. It details steps taken by the Judicial Police (PJ) to clarify, investigate, and verify a crime, determine the circumstances, and identify possible responsibility of authors, accomplices, or accessories, to bring them to justice as predetermined by law.
Diligence
Diligence: Written explanation of police action aimed at clarifying an offense. Action taken by each member of the Judicial Police (PJ) involved in the case, documented with chronological correlation and content consistency.
Act
Act: The materialization of a submission in writing witnessed by the person who prepares it, with no involvement of varied interests. It is independent of personal attestation, and in connection therewith.
