Introduction

Good morning, my name is Marina, and today I’m going to present my three favorite and most useful inventions that humanity has ever created.

Microphone

The microphone was created to address larger groups of people by amplifying the human voice. The official inventor of the microphone is David Edward Hughes in the 1870s. It was initially a carbon microphone, unlike the models we have today. Hughes, born in London in 1831, also invented the first printing telegraph. Besides his passion for physics, he was a musician, like his family, and played the piano. To use a microphone, you simply speak into it, and your voice will be amplified.

This invention is very important to me because I like singing, and without the microphone, I would likely strain my voice.

Mobile Phone

The next invention is the mobile phone, widely used by everyone. Martin Cooper invented it in 1973 and is considered the father of the cell phone. Born in 1928, he is an American electrical engineer and inventor who worked for Motorola. Nowadays, almost everyone has a mobile phone. We are constantly connected and rely on it for many things: playing games, chatting with friends, making calls, posting photos on social media, sending emails, and more. Some even use it for work, such as designing. The mobile phone has evolved significantly over the years.

This invention has become very important because you can do so much with it, communicate with friends, and stay connected with the world.

Radio

Finally, the last invention is the radio. It’s difficult to pinpoint a single inventor, as different countries have their own pioneers. However, I’m going to focus on Guglielmo Marconi, a British inventor. Born in 1874, he was an electrical engineer who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1909. He invented the radio in 1897. With this invention, you can listen to music, sports programs, and other content simultaneously with others in your country or around the world. The first radio was created for communication purposes.

This invention is very important because we rely on it to stay informed about the world and enjoy music.

Why These Inventions?

I chose these three inventions because they are very important to me and play a major role in my life. I don’t know what I should invent, but if I had to imagine something, I would say a time machine because I would love to go back to the past and correct all the mistakes I made.
