Spanish Liberal and Conservative Politics

Consequently, the military proposed a coup against the Liberals. Several events occurred, culminating in a revolution against both parties and King Alfonso XIII's reign. This period ended with a military revolution led by Africanist Primo de Rivera, which brought more stability and favored the military and the church.
