Gun Control
The Debate on Teachers Carrying Guns
After the incident that happened in Florida last February, Donald Trump proposed that teachers should carry guns in schools. Is this the best solution?
I think it is one of the worst ideas he could have suggested. Both teachers and students could be affected, regardless of age, as it depends on the individual's mindset.
Despite the occurrence of many crimes like this, I cannot understand why some people support the sale of weapons.
Nevertheless, there are people who are beginning to speak out against it, and this is a positive development.
The Need for Stricter Gun Laws
The first step we should take is to ban the sale of weapons worldwide. If we achieve this, things will change.
Feminism
The #MeToo Movement
This movement should have started much earlier, but it's not too late. It is the beginning of something big. Thanks to celebrities, many girls have been able to share their experiences of harassment and assault.
Moreover, it is raising awareness among more and more people, both boys and girls.
Fighting for Equality
Society does not value women as we deserve. In fact, we are valued less than men. In some countries, women continue to live as men dictate. Boys control girls, and they abuse women. In short, society is male-chauvinistic, but we will change that.
We fight for feminism because all people must be equal. Nowadays, things are starting to change.
Immigration
The Challenges Faced by Immigrants
Nowadays, many immigrants leave their countries to seek a better life elsewhere. However, they face many challenges just to arrive alive.
President Trump's Border Wall
President Trump has decided to build a wall between the USA and Mexico to stop immigrants from entering. The USA is a developed country, so it should help people in need. Trump should consider the needs of others.
I believe that the people of Mexico deserve another opportunity to change and improve their lives. Perhaps the people of the USA should speak out against this idea. But not only the people of the USA, people from all countries should do so.
The Need for Compassion and Support
In conclusion, immigrants face many problems, and to make their situation easier, we should try to help them.
Political Corruption
The Case of Cristina Cifuentes
In our country, it has been discovered that some ministers, such as Cristina Cifuentes, do not have a master's degree. She studied at one of the most important universities in Spain and is now making a mockery of this institution.
On the one hand, I do not understand how she reached her position, as there should be strict controls in place.
On the other hand, she should be removed from the government, just as the president would do with anyone else. I believe there are more qualified people who do hold master's degrees.
Although Cifuentes is still in office, she will not last long. Moreover, I think that more ministers' wrongdoings will come to light; however, they will try to defend themselves.
