Planning focuses on the school and classroom, allowing the permanent connection between the pedagogical-didactic aspects and the organizational and operational aspects. This process involves:
- A study and initial analysis of the baseline.
- The initial design of the model to be implemented (technical support, technical, and legal aspects).
- Action proposal development and implementation.
- Evaluation.
- Criticism and constructive memory with new proposals.
This is always framed in a deep study of the application context and as part of a participatory and collaborative action, based on teamwork.
Purpose of Planning
Planning is used to support teaching and organizational autonomy. It helps define our own model within a defined planning framework that corresponds to a particular place, maintaining constant contact with other elements and forming part of a whole culture of planning.
Teacher's Foundational Elements
The teacher's action is based on:
- Some approaches to learning.
- A conception of school.
- A theory of teaching and learning.
- Previous knowledge.
- A perception of the surrounding reality.
- An assessment of the possibilities of individual and collective action.
- A plan (general and specific).
- Resources (human, material, techniques, and other resources).
Classroom-Centered Planning
Classroom-centered planning is the essential moment in which the teacher or team of teachers assesses the situation and makes projections of alternative courses of action based on previous ideas, deciding on the courses of action.
Roles and Coordination
There are two departments that enhance creative and recreational activities, as well as the full range of cross-cutting materials.
Cycle Coordinators:
The Cycle Coordinator will be the link between their own cycle, the pedagogical commission, the management team, and the guidance department. Responsibilities include:
- Curricular adjustments.
- Establishing minimum targets to be achieved by each level at the time of promotion.
- Establishing evaluation criteria.
The Guardian:
The Guardian must maintain a close relationship with the orientation department. Responsibilities include:
- Knowing each student.
- Being a link between school and family.
- Ensuring students feel like integral members.
- Helping resolve difficulties encountered by students.
- Coordinating the educational activities of a group of teachers.
- Promoting a climate of mutual respect.
