  • To represent the center, without prejudice to the powers of other educational officers.
  • To direct and coordinate all activities of the center towards the same educational project in accordance with existing rules, and without prejudice to the powers conferred on the Faculty and the School Board.
  • To direct and promote the effective development of the functions entrusted to the management team, ensuring compliance with laws and other provisions.
  • To exercise leadership of all personnel working at the center and adopt resolutions that apply disciplinary rules in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • To collaborate with the bodies of the Ministry responsible for education in all matters concerning the achievement of educational goals, be part of the advisory bodies established for this purpose, and provide information and documentation that is required by the Ministry responsible for Education.
  • To propose to the Educational Administration the appointment and dismissal of other members of the management team, after informing the Senate and the School Board, and to appoint and dismiss holders of coordination bodies and tutorial teaching, according to the procedure established in the relevant organic regulations.
  • To convene and preside over academic events and meetings of the organs of control and participation in the management of the center, and other organs when so established by regulation, and execute the resolutions adopted within the framework of its competencies.
  • To oversee works in recruitment, services, and supplies, and to authorize expenditure in line with the center's budget and manage payments, all in accordance with the established provisions and the Ministry responsible for Education.
  • To approve certificates and official documents of the center.
  • To promote internal evaluation processes of the center, working in external evaluations and promote plans for improving the quality of the school, as well as innovation and educational research projects.
  • Any other function assigned to it in the appropriate organic regulations and provisions.
  • To encourage the implementation of measures to help improve coexistence in the center, settle conflicts, and impose appropriate disciplinary action on students in accordance with the regulations established by the Ministry responsible for education and the criteria established in the Rules of Procedure of the center.
