Peter Pan and Wendy: A Magical Neverland Script

Act 1: The Bedroom

Set Design: Wendy's Room

Wendy: (Sleeps, hears a noise, and wakes up) What was that? (Surprised)

Peter: (Moves quickly to the side of Wendy) (Startles her) Hello.

Wendy: (Gets scared) Who are you? (Attempts to defend herself with a cushion)

Peter: I'm Peter Pan. I live in Neverland. (Shaking hands)

Wendy: Where? (Confused)

Peter: Neverland, not far away. Shall we? (Flees)

Wendy: (Gets scared) Are we flying? (Surprised)

Peter: Yes; if you come with me, you can do it too! (Excited)

Wendy: (Thinks) Okay, but I must be back soon.

(Wendy and Peter begin their journey)

Act 2: Arrival in Neverland

Set Design: Neverland

Peter: Welcome!

Wendy: It's wonderful! (Surprised, looking around)

Peter: I want to introduce you to my friends, come on! (Takes her hand)

(The children are playing; Peter and Wendy arrive)

Child 1: Who is she? (Two children observe from a distance)

Child 2: (Runs backward) It cannot be! Peter, how could you? (Screams)

(The children are frightened and hide behind Child 2)

Child 3: What is happening? (Asks Child 4, muttering)

Child 4: I do not know.

(Bewildered, everyone waits for Child 2 to speak)

Child 2: It's an adult! (Shouting) Peter brought an adult!

Peter: No! (Shouting) She is a girl and she tells the best stories in the world!

Child 5: Really? (Enthusiastic)

(All approach Wendy)

Child 6: Tell us! Tell us! (Enthusiastic)

Wendy: Eh... I do not know. (Shy)

All Children: Please, please, please! (Insistent)

Wendy: Okay. (Starts telling a story)

(Children fall asleep)

Act 3: The Pirate Ship

(On the boat, Captain Hook and Smee)

Hook: Mr. Smee! (Screaming)

(Smee comes running)

Smee: What is it, sir? (Scared)

Hook: I have everything ready. We will find Peter's treasure. (Enthusiastic) Then we depart.

Smee: We leave tomorrow?

Hook: Yes, we will go to spy on Peter. (Evil laughter)

Act 4: Peter's Cave

(While Peter and the Lost Boys listen to Wendy's stories, Smee and Hook arrive to spy)

Hook: Who is that girl? (Asking Smee, confused)

Smee: I do not know, sir... I had never seen her around here.

Hook: Shh, let me hear her speak.

(Wendy finishes telling the story while the children applaud)
