High School Reflections
High school has given me very good and not so good moments, but it was undoubtedly the best time of my life. I had many friends, and the days in class were fun and enjoyable. I remember that the first day of high school I entered with a lot of fear of not making friends since I didn't know anyone, but after the first playground I had already made 3 friends, one of whom today is my best friend. A not so good stage in high school was repeating the course, since I had a bad time both socially with my new classmates and on a personal level.
The Digital Connection
Today, both new and old generations have something in common: the need to connect to the internet, either to work or to hang out. I think that punishing a person without internet is a good way for them to learn from a mistake and not repeat it. It is also a good way to disconnect from technology and live without having a device in your hands all day, especially on a weekend, since one of the fastest ways to distract ourselves is to spend time with our mobile watching videos or chatting with friends.
Nurturing Friendships
Not long ago, the friendship between my best friend and I broke, but even so, I still consider her my best friend. We haven't ended badly; we've just given each other space. I guess one of the most common ways for a friendship to break is the fact of not knowing how to take care of it. A friendship is just as, or more, important than a couple relationship. You have to take care of it and know how to fix any argument at the time, so you don't let things linger and end up neglecting the friendship.
Substance Use and Awareness
I am in favor of illegalizing all substances that cause negative effects on people's health and can create dependence. I am not a consumer of tobacco or alcohol. From time to time, on some weekend or other, I do have a drink, but it would not affect me if they illegalized that substance. If we really think about it, everything in large quantities affects us, like sugary drinks, fast food, etc. Ultimately, each person has to be aware of what they consume and how much.
The Journey to Independence
Since I was a minor, I have always had in mind becoming independent for personal and family reasons. It is true that living alone is complicated, since you go from paying nothing at home to paying everything. To become independent, you need to save a lot, but it has many advantages, at least for people who do not have a good atmosphere at home. We can find the advantages, such as the harmony and tranquility that you feel when you are alone in a room. When you live alone, you know that you will have that feeling throughout your house.
