My Passion for Padel and a Memorable Trip to Portugal

My Favorite Sport: Padel

My favorite sport is Padel, and I believe that it will become one of the most important sports in a few years.

It is played in doubles (two against two), just like doubles tennis. The court, which measures 10 by 20 meters, is smaller than a tennis court and is enclosed by walls. It is made of artificial grass. To play, you need specific equipment:

• A Padel racket (I have two or three)
• Padel shoes (which are the same as tennis shoes)
• Padel balls

I have a lot of balls because I like to play frequently. I try to play two or three times a week, but right now, I can only play once a week because my English teacher assigns a lot of homework and I dedicate my free time to my son and wife.

I love this sport because it requires constant motion and quick reflexes. I also enjoy it because I am a good player in all racquet sports. My experience in this sport has been positive, as I usually win when I play with my friends. I have played in many tournaments in my city and category, but I can't win them all, because there are very skilled players.

In my opinion, Padel is one of the most complete sports, and I believe that in a few years, we will see it in the Olympics.

My Last Vacation in Portugal

On my last vacation, I went to Portugal with just my wife, as our son hadn't been born yet. We went to Lagos for a weekend in May, right after I arrived in Spain from Mali.

Lagos is a beautiful city; it has a long beach with blond sand and clear waters. On Friday, after we arrived at the hotel, we went to explore the city and have dinner, as food wasn't included with our hotel stay. The next day, we rented a kayak and went to visit the caves and various hidden beaches. The caves were very small, and we could only enter with the kayak. Afterward, we spent the morning sunbathing on a hidden beach. In the afternoon, we were by the pool and drank a lot of cocktails. On Sunday, we got up early and went to visit a shopping center. We spent the morning buying clothes, then I drove to Huelva, and we ate at a restaurant where the meal was delicious.

In conclusion, it was a great vacation, although very short, but my wife and I relaxed a lot.

I have not been able to go on vacation again since then, but this summer, I will go on vacation with my wife and son to Selwo Marina, because my son loves animals.
