Article 332: National Executive Functions

Billeting (Acuartelamiento): The action of keeping military personnel available in barracks.

Billeting Levels

  • Level A Billeting: Military personnel of the unit or units of the garrison will remain available in their barracks.
  • Level B Billeting: 50% of military personnel of the units will remain available in the barracks.
  • Level C Billeting: 25% of headquarters personnel will remain available.

Military Greeting Protocols

The military greeting is obligatory and should be returned as a duty and a gesture of courtesy.

When to Greet

  • Normal Greeting:
    • At military installations.
    • In public establishments.
    • On the street.
  • Manner of Greeting: In a strong position with a slight bow, whether standing or sitting.
  • Specific Locations: At shows, theaters, social gatherings, and temples.

When Not to Greet

  • In private places such as restrooms.
  • In sick rooms.

Headwear and Saluting

  • From the fundamental position, the salute is given with a clear voice.
  • At attention with a slight inclination of the head, whether standing or sitting.

Types of Military Installations

  • Strong Military Installation: A strictly military installation where various military units are concentrated.
  • Naval Base: Ports or coastal areas specially prepared for warships to resupply with munitions.
  • Air Base (BAC Air): A joint military airport from which significant air attacks can be launched.
  • Headquarters: A place where companies are distributed and quartered, and where exercise troops stay in garrison.

  • Implement Psychological Contact: Defined as establishing empathy or attunement to a person's feelings during a crisis.
  • Analyze Problem Dimensions: Inquiry focuses on three areas: immediate past, present, and immediate future. The immediate past refers to events leading to the crisis.
