The Concert
Two years ago, I went to a concert by Iron Maiden in Madrid. I went with my dad, because I haven't got any friends who like heavy metal. It was the best night of my life. When I arrived, I went to a hotel and we left everything there. After that, we went to a rock bar to drink a beer. Suddenly, we went to the Wizink Center. There were many people. I left very impressed when the musicians got out to the stage. I heard the voice of Bruce Dickson and it was amazing. Finally, we went to the hotel to sleep, it was the night of my life.
My Happiest Moment
Two years ago, I was training, as I usually did and suddenly the coach told me 'keep going because in the next match they will come to scout you.' I was excited, because I had the opportunity to go to the regional team. On the morning of the match, I got out of bed early. After that, my parents gave me a surprise, they were new shoes for the match. It's game time and I felt nervous, but I knew I was going to do well. We started the match very badly, we were losing until the break came. The coach gave us a lot of encouragement, I was motivated and I managed to score two goals to win. In the end, everyone congratulated me for the great game I had done, and suddenly I was approached by a totally unknown person, who said 'I'll see you next week, you're one of the selected ones.'
A Description of a Place
My favorite place which is important to me is my countryside house. I have very bright impressions and memories related to it. That is the place where I have grown up, met my friends and where I have spent almost all my life. It is a big house with a yard. In summer there are a lot of flowers which make the outlook beautiful. In the backyard, there is a place where I love to spend time, lying in a hammock and dreaming under the tree. Inside the house, there is a kitchen, a big living room, where you can invite guests, friends and chat with them, watch TV and relax. Next to the living room, there are rooms, which are always sunlit during the daytime, so you wake up with a very good mood in the morning. The house has a very homely atmosphere, I will always like this place because I have many good, pleasant memories and feelings about it.
Obese
The notion that health is one of the most important issues in our current world is agreed by all. Personally, I believe that there is an increase in obese young people. First of all, youngsters eat too much junk food. For this reason, it seems to me that there is a rise in obesity. Another point to take into account is the fact that obese people have a higher probability of health problems. Secondly, in my opinion, the cause higher medical costs. Therefore, the government should ban sweets and fizzy drinks in schools. In addition, it is clear that having a balanced diet is essential. Finally, and as a way of conclusion, we can say the topic of obesity in young people is something very serious. I strongly feel that youngsters should exercise more to have a healthy life.
Sports Stars
The notion that sports stars are one of the most important issues in our life. However, it's not clear that there are more benefits than danger when talking about if the sports stars are a good example to younger people. On the one hand, there are some advantages that we should take into account. Firstly, the sports stars have worked very hard to reach the highest and then can be a good influence to young people. In addition, many athletes donate part of their money to NGOs. On the other hand, we can also find some important disadvantages. For example, many sports stars have fame in their heads, this causes them to start wasting their money on parties, alcohol, etc. The youngsters might think that behavior is right. In conclusion, it's clear that there are both benefits and dangers. However, I strongly feel that sports stars are a good example because it is very important to have a person who is admired.
