Meet Markel: A Karate Champion with a Big Heart

MY DESCRIPTION

I’m a boy of 16 years old, my name is Markel and I live in Bergara.

Now, in my house we live 4 people; my mother, my father, my grandfather and me. My mother is called Lourdes, my father is called Francisco Javier and my grandfather is called Jose and we are very happy living together.

At school I've got good marks but now things are getting complicated.

In my free time I practice Karate and there are two types of Karate one is Katas that is about making series of moves and the other type is Kumite where you try to compete against your opponent and you have to get points and the person that gets the most points is the winner and fights usually last two minutes. I am quite good at it and I have participated in various competitions and the truth is that I have got good results, for example; I have been first of Gipuzkoa, I have been first of Euskadi and I got the sixth post in the competition of Spain and I'm in the selection of Euskadi and we train regularly.

I like doing extreme sports and I also have extracurricular classes and I love meeting new people and in my free time I like being with my friends to play soccer, I also like being with my family in my free time...

I enjoy spending time with my friends but I don’t like to be disturbed me, and also, I love Blue and Black color and the paella that my father makes.

I have no trouble eating anything (I like all the food), and I hate being lied.

A curiosity about me, it is that I am very tidy and hardworking.

Regarding languages, my native language is Spanish, but I also speak English and Basque. I usually speak Basque with my friends and at school, English is not usually spoken only in English classes and I usually speak Spanish every day with family, friends …

In short, I’m quite special because I’m soo friendly and I have a big heart.

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Mobile Phones

Nowadays, more than 50% of the population has a mobile phone. What is the cause? The mobile phone has changed the form in which we work and we live our lives. Every time there is more people that uses the mobile phone to work and for that reason the great demand of the product.

One of the main advantages of the mobile phone is that you can call to any part of the world. Another advantage is that you always can be located with this device if you have any emergency.

One of the main disadvantages would be sometimes the unnecessary use that young people give to the mobile phone, they become addict. Another disadvantage would be the lack of time in our lives and for that reason we depend more on the telephone.

I really think that it is a great invention, according to the use that we want to give to phone.
