Part 2: Future Tense Application

Exercise 2

1. My dad is buying a bouquet. My aunt is making something special for lunch, and my sisters are sweeping and mopping. They are going to celebrate Mother's Day.
2. It's ten o'clock on a Saturday night. Tyler and Mrs. Evans are standing near the front door. They're waiting for a friend of Tyler's who is going to pick him up. He is going to have fun tonight.
3. Austin is nervous. He is wearing a black suit and he is waiting for someone in front of the priest in church. He is going to get married.
4. Frank and Linda are in their bedroom. Frank is undressing Linda and Linda is undressing Frank. They are going to make love.
5. Rick is breaking two eggs. The frying pan is on the stove, and the onions and tomatoes are frying. He is going to make an omelet.
6. I am sitting down in front of my computer. I am all alone, but I've got some new titles and I'm ready to enjoy the night. Tomorrow's a holiday. I'm going to play video games all night long.
7. Diana is exhausted. When she got home, she called some friends and said: “Sorry, I'm not coming tonight. I need to rest.” She's going to stay home.

Exercise 3
