Book Review: La Tregua by Mario Benedetti
I have just read a book called La Tregua. It is a novel by Mario Benedetti. The protagonist, Martín Santomé, is fifty-three years old and feels bored because he has never had a hobby. He is always working and does not have a good relationship with his three sons. He is a widower, as his wife passed away. Now, he has a new partner at work and has fallen in love with her. The story is tragic because Avellaneda dies from a heart attack. Martín has had a failed life with women, and in the end, he becomes a pensioner.
Are Private Lessons Useful?
At present, many students attend private lessons to receive help with their questions, but are they really useful?
The Benefits of Tutoring
On the one hand, I am in favor of them because the aim of private lessons is to help overcome learning difficulties. The main advantage is that you can learn more quickly.
The Drawbacks of Tutoring
On the other hand, I am against private lessons because, when students attend school, they may not pay enough attention or try to do their homework by themselves, relying instead on their private teacher to solve it for them.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I think private lessons are useful, provided that your teacher does not do your homework for you.

When I finish my studies, I plan to work to earn money to visit New York to learn about other cultures and languages.

The most interesting place to visit is the neighborhood of Manhattan, famous throughout the world, perhaps because it is the setting for many films. The most emblematic monument is the Statue of Liberty, located on an island in the harbor, 3 miles southwest of the southern tip of Manhattan. New York is a beautiful city for a holiday.
