How My Routine Has Changed

Good morning! Since the quarantine started, many things have changed in our daily routines. Schools are closed, we can't go out without a specific reason, and we can't meet our friends. This has completely changed our lives.

Before the coronavirus crisis, I used to get up early, go to school, do my homework, and go out with my friends. Now, I usually get up later and catch up with my homework. After lunch, I study and do my homework until six, when I go down for a snack. Then, I go for a walk with my friend Yago.

The Emotional Impact

This situation was complicated for me at the beginning because I wasn't completely aware of the problems this pandemic could cause. But as time passed, I realized how dangerous it was, and I became afraid.

However, when I saw that fewer people were getting infected, I could relax a bit. Anyway, this whole situation is still very stressful for me.

What I Miss the Most

The thing I miss the most is seeing my friends and family. I really want to skate because it isn't the same skating alone and in a small space as with your friends in a pavilion. I also miss the classroom atmosphere because this year most of my classmates like me very well, and we have a good relationship.

Online vs. On-Site Learning

In my opinion, online teaching is better for some subjects, while for others, on-site teaching is more appropriate. For instance, for subjects like history or philosophy, which are very theoretical, I think the online method fits better.

However, for subjects that have a practical part, like math, the online lessons aren't enough because there is part of the subject that must be put into practice, and you can't do it online.

Documenting My Experience

Finally, during this quarantine, I used part of this time to create a photo journal. Every day I take a photo and try to explain how my day was using that picture.

It's the first time I have experienced a pandemic, and I think it's necessary to record how I have felt so that one day I can read and remember it.

Thanks for your attention, bye!
