Learning English is crucial for academic pursuits, business endeavors, and even travel. Studying English abroad, particularly in the UK, offers significant advantages due to constant language immersion. Engaging in daily activities like shopping, asking for directions, and watching TV compels you to speak English consistently, enhancing your accent and encouraging you to think in the language rather than relying on your native tongue. However, the high cost of studying abroad can be a barrier for some, and adapting to a different culture and experiencing homesickness can pose challenges.

Learning English in your home country also has its merits and drawbacks. Studying with peers who share your native language and face similar challenges can create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. The camaraderie and friendly competition can motivate students to work harder. However, using your native language in class can hinder fluency in English.

Considering the financial implications of studying abroad, I prefer to learn English in my own country while actively seeking opportunities to improve my language skills. Building friendships with native English speakers who reside in or visit my country is an excellent way to enhance my fluency.

The Best Film: Why Forrest Gump Stands Out

With millions of films produced worldwide in recent years, selecting the top 100 is a daunting task. While many average or poorly plotted movies have emerged, numerous brilliant films remain undiscovered due to their regional nature. In my opinion, the best film among those that have gained international recognition should possess a clever yet simple plot, intelligent humor, and elements that leave a lasting impression on viewers. Forrest Gump embodies all these qualities.

The film's protagonist, Forrest, navigates life's unpredictable situations with an endearing and optimistic approach. His unique problem-solving methods are both charming and thought-provoking. If I could recommend just one film to everyone, it would undoubtedly be Forrest Gump. His "simple" ideas and unconventional behavior have the power to open people's eyes and inspire them to embrace life's journey.

Evaluating My Six-Month English Course

This report assesses the effectiveness of the six-month English course I recently completed at the Academy Center in English.

Areas for Improvement

Firstly, the class size of twenty students felt crowded, and the computer room was inadequate for our needs. Additionally, the course fee was quite high.

Positive Aspects

As anticipated, the teachers were well-qualified, friendly, and fostered a pleasant learning environment among the students. Consequently, my English skills improved significantly.

Conclusion

My primary suggestion would be to reduce the class size. Otherwise, the course was excellent and engaging, and I thoroughly enjoyed my learning experience. I would highly recommend it to my friends and plan to return for further studies in the future.
