Training Contracts

Training Contracts for Skill Acquisition

This contract aims at the acquisition of theoretical and practical training necessary to develop a proper job or one that requires a specific qualification.

  • Requirements:
    • Must be under 21 years of age.
    • Must not possess the necessary qualifications for a practical contract.
    • Must not have previously performed the job role before being contracted by the company.
  • Duration: Between 6 months and 2 years.
  • Working Day: Full-time, with a portion dedicated to theoretical training and the remainder to practical work.
  • Remuneration: As established in the collective agreement.
  • Social Security: Contributions are set annually by the government; these contracts do not generate a right to unemployment benefits.

Internship Training Contracts

This contract aims at providing appropriate professional practices to workers with university education, aligned with their completed studies.

  • Requirements:
    • Must hold a university degree or appropriate professional training qualification.
    • No more than 4 years must have elapsed since the completion of the relevant studies.
  • Duration: Not less than 6 months, nor exceeding 2 years.
  • Working Day: Can be full-time or part-time.
  • Remuneration: As established in the collective agreement.
  • Trial Period: Should not exceed 2 months. One month for mid-level graduates, two months for higher-level graduates.

Temporary and Casual Contracts

Contract for Specific Work or Service

This contract is intended for specific services or work, independently executed and forming part of the company's core activity.

  • Form: Written.
  • Duration: The time required for carrying out the specific work or service.

Temporary Contracts for Production Circumstances

These contracts are intended to meet market demands, address circumstances of accumulated excess orders, or handle specific tasks.

  • Form: Can be verbal or written.
  • Duration: A maximum of 6 months within a 12-month period.
  • Compensation: Entitles the worker to an allowance of 8 days per year of service.

Interim Replacement Contracts

These contracts are intended to replace an employee who has the right to reserve their workplace.

  • Form: Written, specifying the replaced worker, the cause for replacement, and the workplace.
  • Duration: Cannot exceed 3 months.

Relief Contracts

This contract's objective is to provide services for a worker, for at least part of the day, filling the vacancy left by another worker.

  • Requirements: The worker must be registered as unemployed at the employment office.
  • Duration: A maximum of 5 years.

Contracts for Victims of Gender or Domestic Violence

This contract aims at hiring individuals who are victims of gender or domestic violence, at any stage of the procedure.
