The first fraternity in North America was the Phi Beta Kappa Society, founded at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, on December 5th, 1776.

What Constitutes an Action Plan?

An action plan is a commitment to accomplish specific actions on a regular routine. A Kappa Sigma aspires to be a better man, as stated.

Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund

• Mission: To support the charitable and beneficent purposes of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
• Established: 1919
• Scholarship/Leadership Awards: Awards scholarships to deserving brothers.
• Leadership Conferences: Deliver programs and resources on personal and leadership development. They occur during the summer.

Commitment Beyond Graduation

Membership in Kappa Sigma does not end at graduation. Commitment continues through service in the community.

The greatest sources of commitment to Kappa Sigma are the brothers' dedication to each other through Fellowship, Ritual, and service to the Fraternity.

Supreme Executive Committee (SEC)

The SEC is the executive committee that every chapter follows. Its offices and responsibilities include:

Undergraduate Advisory Committee (UAC)

The UAC consists of five undergraduate members representing five geographical areas, serving as advisors to the SEC.

District Grand Master (DGM)

Our DGM, Andrew Glazer, represents the SEC in every district and mobilizes services.

Chapter Account Manager (AA)

Our AA, Jack Howard, serves as the front-line advisor to each chapter.

Executive Director

Mitchel B. Wilson holds the title of Executive Director and leads the headquarters.

International Headquarters (IMH)

The IMH serves as the Kappa Sigma headquarters and holds early records, books, and pins.

Fraternity Magazine

The name of the Fraternity's magazine is The Caduceus of KS.
