Why People Love to Travel

I am going to talk about the reasons why people love traveling and the benefits we might get when we travel. Have you been on a trip recently? Let me tell you a bit more about the reasons why people decide to travel. Nowadays, people travel mostly for pleasure. Travelers typically choose destinations where they think they’ll feel relaxed in different ways. Other people instead prefer traveling for deeper, more conscious motivations. For example, if you have lived all your life with the comforts of western society, it’s easy to forget that life is not as easy for everyone around the world. In this case, traveling to a different country might help you put your life in perspective and find relaxation in a different way.

Solo Travel vs. Group Travel

After all my travels, I think traveling solo is better than traveling in a group. To begin with, it is really important to set up a budget and stick to it. You don’t want to run out of money, do you? Choosing the right accommodation is also a point to take into account. This place (where you’ll sleep) should not be very far from the places you want to visit, or else, at the end of the day, you’ll find yourself very tired.

In my opinion, it’s always good to find a room no further than 15-20 minutes away from the places you actually want to visit. If you travel alone, you can choose the room that you want, but if anything happens (for example, an emergency), it’s better to be in a group.

My Solo Travel Experience in Ireland

Let me tell you about my experience traveling alone. When I was 20, I went to Ireland as an au pair, and I had one of the most exciting experiences of my life. It was my first big solo trip, and although it was hard at first, I learned a lot.

I definitely think that everyone should have an experience like this at least once in their life. Everyone should experience a solo trip because you grow as a person, you have new experiences, and above all, you learn a lot. I’m pretty sure that if I could go back in time, I would definitely dedicate more of my time to traveling alone.
