Improving Castro City: Addressing Key Infrastructure Issues

Stray Dog Management

Stray dogs can sometimes be aggressive or sick. Why does this happen? They are often hungry and cold, leading to attacks on children and adults. To address this, I propose establishing adoption centers and animal care facilities for the good of the community. We need your support.

Limited Parking Spaces

Limited parking space is a significant issue. For example, when visiting the municipality, I often have to park much further away due to a lack of spaces. This wastes time. I propose building more parking lots, improving public transport, and encouraging the community to use public transit, bicycles, or walk.

Traffic Light Malfunctions

Malfunctioning traffic lights are a frequent problem. When traffic lights are out of service, it's unclear when pedestrians should cross and when cars should go, occasionally leading to accidents. I propose constant maintenance of traffic light systems.

Sea Water Contamination

Sea water contamination has killed many species over the years, and many beaches have been deemed unsuitable for swimming. I propose implementing strict regulations and cleaning the seashore.

Sewage Water Drainage Issues

Castro is a big city with inadequate sewage water drainage. For example, when walking in the city during rain, one's feet can get wet from the large flows of water on the streets. I suggest reviewing and expanding the sewer system in Castro.

Limited Public Transportation

Limited public transportation is a challenge. Often, we have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a taxi or bus, even when we have limited time for lunch. Bus routes are slow and long, and buses are often overcrowded. I propose increasing the number of buses.

Roads in Poor Condition

Roads are in poor condition. When vehicles travel at high speeds, they may not realize the cracks in the road, which can be very dangerous. I propose regular and prompt road maintenance.

Education System Limitations

The education system in Castro lacks opportunities for young people after they finish school. Many have to migrate to other cities for quality higher education, whether at universities or technical training institutes. I propose prioritizing the need for universities in Castro.

Unreliable Electrical Wiring

Poor electrical wiring often leaves the city without electricity, which is dangerous on the roads and disrupts work and schools. I propose performing maintenance.

Lack of Cycle Paths

There are no cycle paths, so people do not prefer cycling as a means of transportation because it is dangerous. I propose building bike paths to improve traffic flow and benefit those who use them.
