Benefits of Books

Books are essential for children's learning. They allow children to develop their attitudes and pick up knowledge quickly. Some people say that young people are responsible enough to take care of books. However, I believe there are both advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages of Free Books

On the one hand, the main advantage of free books is that families don't have to buy them if they can't afford them. Furthermore, children can attend classes without paying fees.

Disadvantages of Free Books

On the other hand, the disadvantages are that even though some teenagers are mature enough to have this opportunity, the majority are not. Another issue is the question of who should pay for the books? In my opinion, we can all contribute to buy the original book and then print copies for everyone. In that way, the books would cost less money.

Conclusion

To sum up, books are useful for people who take care of them. As far as I'm concerned, everyone needs books, but not everybody has the money to buy them, so we can all help each other.

Evaluation of Facilities at Almadrava Secondary School

Facilities

Nowadays, every school has a computer room, a canteen, a music room, and a library. The facilities that younger students use most are the computer room, while the facilities that older students use most are the canteen and the library. The majority of students buy snacks in the canteen every day, 40% bring their own snacks. The rest don't eat during break time.

Positive Features

In general, students are happy with the facilities. The computer room was particularly popular, and most students think there are plenty of computers. Moreover, the music room has a lot of instruments, such as a piano and guitars.

Areas for Improvement

Even though students like the canteen, about 30% said that it wasn't a good place to meet and chat with friends because it's too crowded. As far as the library is concerned, several students felt there were not enough books. In addition, older students, in particular, would like a separate room where they can relax.

A Strange Encounter in the Park

A strange thing happened to me once. I was walking in the street when I suddenly decided to go to the park. Then I checked my phone and read in the news that a valuable necklace had been stolen. Suddenly, I heard a strange noise, and I thought it must have been the wind. I waited to see if the noise would come back, but eventually, I gave up and went home.

A few days later, the news only reported about the valuable necklace, and the police investigated who could have been the thief. But they didn't know what to make of the footprints. They didn't look like human footprints. I felt a bit tired, so I decided to go to the park again and sat in the same place. Later, I heard the strange noise again. I didn't want to investigate the origin, but thankfully I did. It was a dog!

Amazingly, the dog had the valuable necklace in its mouth. After that, I called the police. The funny thing was that the footprints on the jewelry were from the dog.
