SA 8000
Is an international standard on the position and conditions of work and was launched in 1998 by Social Accountability International (SAI), in order to help companies to develop and manage social responsibility systems in their own facilities or their suppliers. It focuses on the analysis of child labor, forced labor, safety and hygiene at work, labor discrimination, and remuneration.
ECO LABEL36
Is a label applicable in the countries of the European Union which guarantees that a product has been rated as more environmentally efficient than other similar products. This label is intended to be compatible with national eco-labeling schemes. The certification is carried out by official public bodies. Its objectives are to develop a policy of promotion of clean products, power improvements in waste management and old landfills.
ISO 26000
Is a voluntary international guide on social responsibility, which aims to facilitate the correct and responsible use of the guidance document on ISO 26000 by all types of organizations, regardless of their size or location. The seven principles developed by the ISO 26000 Guide are as follows: Human rights, labor practices, environment, fair operational practices, consumer topics, government of the organization, involvement of the community, and development of society.
