Weekend Recap: Chores and Fun

Last weekend, I didn't do anything particularly important because I had a lot of housework to catch up on. During the week, I work long hours, so I usually handle chores on weekends when I have more time.

Friday Evening

On Friday, when I got off work, I had no plans, so I decided to take out the rubbish and do the grocery shopping for the week. Afterwards, I had dinner with my family and read a book until I fell asleep.

Saturday Chores

The next day, I got up early, made the bed, and vacuumed. My boyfriend would have loved to make plans with me that day, but we still had to wash the dishes, run the washing machine, and tidy up the house. That's why we stayed home.

Sunday Adventure

Sunday was much more fun than Saturday! My friends called me to go visit a very famous town that is near where I live. While there, we saw many famous places where several movies were filmed and ate at a restaurant that only served Asian food. Before heading back home, we also did some activities like climbing and kayaking. At the end of the day, we had some hamburgers for dinner and then took the car to go home.

The truth is that it was a very busy weekend, and it also went by very quickly. I did a lot of housework, but I also had a lot of fun in my free time.
