As a member of the Army, it is a must to be in good physical condition. This article aims to inform about healthy habits of life as well as being fit.
Importance of a Healthy Lifestyle
First of all, it is very important to have a healthy lifestyle. For this reason, it is necessary to eat in a varied way. This means eating fish, meat, salads, pasta, rice, and avoiding fats such as industrial bakery, candies, and chips. Moreover, you have to have five meals a day and try to avoid eating between meals and excessive dinners. Once a week, you can indulge in your favorite foods like pizza or burgers.
Importance of Physical Training
Even though the diet is very important, physical training is also crucial. As a soldier, you usually do PT every morning from Monday to Friday, but sometimes it is not enough. You can complement it by doing something in the evenings. For example, you can do crossfit twice a week, go to the gym, or engage in outdoor sports like biking.
Vary Your Workouts
You must keep in mind that as important as exercise is rest. It is essential that you do not work the same muscles every day. If you work the upper body in the morning, focus on the lower body in the evening. Additionally, make sure to take days for absolute rest and be careful about injuries.
